Latin American and Caribbean countries are already preparing for the PH4H 2025 Connectathon!

As every year, RACSEL accompanies countries in preparing for the regional connectathon through technical support, in this case with a series of training sessions with #DigitalHealth experts.

The first seminar will focus on presenting the fundamentals of the HL7 standard versions, especially FHIR, as well as the use of semantic standards to implement health interoperability processes. It will be led by Fernando Portilla, an engineer and digital health specialist, and consultant for the IDB and RACSEL. These seminars aim to strengthen capacities and provide tools that will help participants successfully meet the challenges posed by the connectathon.

Regional and national connectathons are a key piece in building the Pan American Health Digital Highway (PH4H), an initiative led by the Inter-American Development Bank, the Pan American Health Organization, and the countries of Latin America and the Caribbean, with support from the government of #Japan. In building this Highway, RACSEL is a strategic partner that contributes to building PH4H as a technical leader, seeking to leave installed capacity in countries to achieve regional interoperability.

Join us and let's keep building PH4H together!
